Currently serving on the Vacaville Community Services Commission, Jennifer Goode is a Vacaville local who is looking to make a difference in her community by running for a seat on the Vacaville City Council. She has been quoted as saying that, “being a resident of a city is not a passive role; with residency so comes responsibility,” and that she is just looking to do h
er part to contribute. Jennifer is a passionate advocate known for encouraging others, especially young people, to find their voice and to get active within their local communities.
Jennifer’s campaign is centered on a very simple premise – doing what is right for a City she genuinely enjoys being a part of. Jennifer sincerely values the input of her fellow citizens and is looking forward to serving as a conduit for implementing their will as to how they will work together to make Vacaville thrive.
“If you were to ask, I think most people would tell you they care very little about party affiliation or political ideology,” Goode says. “People want to know how you’re going to make their lives better, how you’re going to keep their community a safe place to live. These are not partisan issues; these are human issues. What matters to me is whether a particular policy or initiative makes the lives of Vacaville residents better off or worse off. Bottom line.”
Jennifer has always said that she intends to live her life as a good example for others, to live honorably and with integrity and to do the right thing. It is quite evident that her campaign is simply a natural extension of those principles.
